The temperature has started soaring high, which means it is time to celebrate and relish summer with a fresh drink in hand!

Light and refreshing, this Strawberry Sangria is a summer-spin on the classic Sangria. Fresh juicy strawberries, oranges and tangy lemon juice get infused in sweet and crisp white wine to create a perfect thirst-quencher on a lazy summer afternoon!
What is Sangria?

If you’re new to sangria, Sangria is a chilled alcoholic beverage originating in Spain and Portugal that consists of wine and freshly chopped fruits paired with fizzy spirits. Ever since, Sangria has been a fixture at backyard barbecues, poolside parties, Valentines day and other occasions that necessitate a glass of festiveness.

The typical Sangria calls for red wine, but you can also make the drink with white wine, rosé wine and even sparkling wine. And, lest you worry about depleting your favorite fancy bottle to make it, Sangrias work best with budget-friendly wines.

To make sangria, all you need to do is stir all of the ingredients together in a big pitcher and let the flavors all meld together for hours until it is ready to enjoy. Yes, it's that simple!

Recipe Tips
  • Allow the sangria to chill overnight for the best flavors-Chilling the sangria overnight allows the flavors of the fresh fruits to infuse with the wine. I recommend chilling for at least 8 hours before serving for the best flavor.
  • Taste and adjust as per your taste- Be sure to taste and adjust the sangria as per your taste. If you prefer a sweeter sangria, you can add an extra splash of orange juice or a little maple syrup.
