Homemade Cherry Lemonade
The weather was incredibly hot last weekend! The scorching sun forced us to stay indoors and we spent most of our time sipping on lemonades. I have a deeply ingrained love for lemonade. With a single sip, I time-travel to those carefree summer days of childhood when calories didn't matter.
While the classic lemonade always hit the spot, I created a fruit lemonade that is flavourful, low in calories, and can be enjoyed by both kids and adults.
The Cherry Lemonade is a fresh and vibrant twist on the classic lemonade. With just a handful of ingredients, this will be ready in no time!
This lemonade strikes a good balance between sweetness and tartness, and it is this combination that makes it a crowd-pleaser. The drink is gorgeous and impressive enough for pool parties, BBQs or a nice treat to give yourself after a long day at work!
Though the recipe is non-alcoholic, you can create an adult version too. Just splash some vodka into the mix and you’ve got the perfect alcoholic summer drink.
