Recipe Tips and Tricks
  • These sliders are best enjoyed fresh out of the oven; the leftovers don't reheat well.
  • Don’t forget to cover the sliders before baking with foil, so that the tops don’t burn. After baking for 15 minutes, you can uncover the sliders and let them bake for about 5 more minutes and until golden brown.

Ingredients:
  • 12 Butter Dinner rolls, sliced horizontally
  • 225g turkey slices or sliced deli meat
  • 12 slices of white cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 3 Tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 Tablespoons Dijon or ground mustard
  • 3/4 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • Fresh sprigs of rosemary, to garnish

Instructions:
  1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius. Lightly grease a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with butter.
  2. Cut the Butter dinner rolls in halves horizontally and place the bottom slab of rolls in the prepared baking dish.
  3. Add the turkey slices on top in an even layer. Next, spread the cranberry sauce over the turkey, and top it with the white cheddar slices. Finally, add the top slab of rolls.
  4. In a microwave safe bowl, combine the butter, mustard, sesame seeds, and salt then microwave until fully melted.
  5. Using a brush, generously spread the butter mixture evenly on top of the buns. If you want more sesame seeds, sprinkle a little more on top.
  6. Cover the pan with aluminium foil and bake for 15 minutes. Then remove the foil and bake uncovered for an additional 5 to 10 minutes.
  7. Remove the rolls from the oven and slice carefully into individual sliders. Garnish with fresh sprigs of rosemary and serve hot!
