The ingredient list for this iced coffee drink is ridiculously simple! Here’s what you’ll need:
- ESPRESSO: Make it using a machine or use strongly brewed instant coffee if you don't have an espresso machine.
- MILK: I highly recommend using whole milk for the creamiest texture and most luxurious iced latte. Any non-dairy milk like soy, oat, or coconut milk will also work just fine.
- CHOCOLATE SYRUP: This will add sweetness and that classic chocolate flavor to our mocha.
- ICE CUBES: Can't have an iced latte without ice!
- WHIPPING CREAM (OPTIONAL): For an extra decadent touch.
An Iced Mocha is a delicious combination of brewed coffee, milk, chocolate sauce, and whipped cream served over ice. On the other hand, an Iced Latte is a cold coffee beverage that primarily consists of espresso and milk poured over ice.
An Iced Latte offers a more pronounced coffee taste, without any additional sweetness or flavors, and has therefore fewer calories. In contrast, an Iced Mocha is a sweeter and more indulgent drink that caters to chocolate lovers. The brewed coffee is mixed with chocolate sauce, creating a delightful balance between the bold coffee flavor and the indulgent taste of chocolate.
Wondering what to serve with this Iced Mocha Latte? Here are some treats that would be a perfect snack:
- Blueberry Cream Cheese Muffins
- Marbled Chocolate Banana Bread
- Peanut Butter Swirl Brownies
- Healthy Banana Walnut Bread
- Swedish Cinnamon Buns
- Classic Australian Lamingtons
- If you are using strongly brewed coffee instead of espresso, use less milk for a more authentic latte flavor.
- Some milk alternatives come pre-sweetened. If using a sweetened milk alternative be sure to adjust the amount of chocolate syrup when making the latte so it’s not too sweet.
- When the espresso is still hot, combine the espresso and the chocolate syrup and stir together well. The heat will help to melt the chocolate into the espresso and infuse the flavor throughout the iced latte.
- If the chocolate sauce is too thick , add 1-2 more tablespoons of milk to thin it out.

Ingredients:
- 60 ml espresso or 1/2 cup of strong coffee
- 2-3 Tablespoons chocolate syrup, plus some more for drizzle
- 230 ml-250 ml whole milk, or any other milk of your choice
- Ice cubes
- Whipping Cream (optional)
Instructions:
- Brew espresso or strong coffee as needed and add it to a drinking glass. Then add the chocolate syrup and stir well to combine.
- Fill the glass with a generous scoop of ice cubes and top with the desired amount of milk (using less milk will produce a stronger coffee flavor and more milk will result in a milder drink).
