We all know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, yet so often we tend to forget this meal. Let's face it, getting up early in the mornings and making breakfast is tough enough especially on weekdays. I must confess that I have never been a morning person; but at the same time breakfast is a must, a non-negotiable meal for me as it sets me up for a productive day. With temperatures soaring high slowly, yogurt bowls have become my recent favorite breakfast. They are such a nutritious way to start my day and keep me going strong all morning. The Mixed Berry Yogurt bowl is a perfect example of a breakfast that is healthy, scrumptious and can be made even on the busiest days.

A healthy, easy, and protein-packed breakfast bowl made with nonfat Greek yogurt, fruits, pumpkin seeds, and honey.

Ingredients

  • 3/4th cup of nonfat Greek yogurt, you can also use any non-dairy yogurt of your choice.
  • 1/2 cup of mixed berries (strawberries and blueberries)
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin seeds
  • Drizzle of honey or maple syrup

Instructions

  • Add yogurt to a bowl and smooth the top with a spoon
  • Top with strawberries, blueberries and pumpkin seeds
  • Add a drizzle of honey or maple syrup on top
  • Serve immediately!
