However, having said that, making a traditional ramen is an extremely time-consuming process, requiring the broth to be simmered for a few hours. So this recipe is a quick and easy version that can be made in the comfort of your own home and is even better than the ones in a restaurant!

This Chicken Ramen features deep and flavorful broth, al dente ramen noodles, crispy roasted chicken, fresh vegetables and boiled eggs. Comforting, soul satisfying and brimming with flavors, this homemade version is ready on the table under an hour and always hits the spot.
What is Ramen?

Ramen is a Japanese noodle soup made with a rich-flavored broth, long thin noodles and topped with an assortment of toppings. It is an integral part of the country's cuisine and has become undeniably popular throughout the world over the years.

The beauty of this recipe is that it is like a blank canvas. You can add whatever you would like to make it your own and zazz things up! From the vegetables and protein to the toppings, everything can be switched up for whatever ingredients you have in hand. For my take on this recipe, I added sliced carrots, sliced scallions, grilled chicken, and of course boiled eggs!

Top off your ramen with lots of fun goodies to give your bowl flavor, color, and texture. Here are some of the other vegetables that you can use:
  • Bean sprouts
  • Edamame Seeds
  • Brown Mushrooms
  • Baby Spinach
  • Bok Choy
  • Corn
